About Jeff

When Jeff was young, he had a fascination with dinosaurs and clipper ships, which pursued him to begin drawing. After seeing the movie, The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, he was immediately inspired to become an artist. He quotes, "When I was a kid, the Cyclops that Ray Harryhausen had created for the movie just blew me away ever since!"

In high school, he started painting on jean jackets for fellow students. His paintings ranged from Iron Maiden cover albums, Metallica, Dio and others.

To better his skills, Jeff attended Pratt Manhatten, Kansas City Art Institute & Art Institute of Houston.

From 1995-1998, he worked for Iron Crown Enterprises painting cards for the Middle-Earth Collectible Card Game.

Afterwards, he landed a job as an art teacher for Human Figure, Life Drawing & Movement, Design & Composition, and Color Illustration for 4 years. (1999-2003)

Currently, Jeff is back in college fine-tuning his skills in Computer Animation and Computer Graphics, both of which he is having a blast with the new creative medium and until the Excelsior!
